Adobe has expanded the functionality of its Photoshop graphics editor by adding artificial intelligence-based generative features from Firefly to the beta version. The new Generative Fill mode lets you modify images using natural language queries, such as expanding images, removing objects, adding content, and drawing missing details, while maintaining the overall integrity of the photos. Artificial Intelligence takes into account perspective, color palette, and lighting to create better and more realistic images.

In this guide, we will show you how to use this feature for free:

  1. Turn on the VPN and select a server, preferably in the United States.
  2. Go to the link (https://creativecloud.adobe.com/campaign/creative-cloud?workflow=route-to-path&route-path=/apps/beta-apps) and download Creative Cloud.
  3. After installation, log in to your Gmail account.
  4. In the panel on the left, select "Beta apps" and click "Try it out" next to "Photoshop (Beta)".
  5. After installation, confirm the trial period.

You now have 7 days to test the new features. After that time, you can create a new account and continue to use Generative Fill for free.

How to use Generative Fill:

[Guide] How to download and use Generative Fill in Adobe Photoshop for free
  1. Open the image in Photoshop and create a new layer.
  2. Select the layer you created and go to Edit > Content-Aware Fill.
  3. In the Content-Aware Fill dialog box, select Generative from the Fill Type drop-down menu.
  4. Customize the Output Settings to your liking. You can select the resolution, color space, and format of the content to be created.
  5. Use the Source Settings options to specify the area of the image on which to base the fill. You can change the size of the source area and the blending mode.
  6. Click "OK" to apply the content creation to the selected layer.

Generative Fill then uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to create content for the selected layer based on the source area and output parameters you specify. You can experiment with different settings to achieve the desired effect.

It's worth noting that Generative Fill is a relatively new feature in Photoshop and may not work perfectly in all situations. However, it is a powerful tool for creating content for your images and saving time in your design workflow.
