"Yandex has launched the third generation of YandexGPT Lite on Yandex Cloud via APIs

Russian company Yandex has unveiled the third generation of YandexGPT Lite, a lighter version of its generative neural network. The new model can be used in chatbots, to analyze data and check spelling.

YandexGPT 3 Lite will be made available to users of the Yandex Cloud platform via API. The updated model makes fewer factual and spelling errors compared to the second generation, and produces six percentage points more correct answers. On average, YandexGPT 3 Lite outperforms the previous version in 68% cases.

The neural network is suitable for phone and chat consultations, preparing answers for the helpdesk and creating marketing materials. YandexGPT 3 Lite can be integrated via API in the Foundation Models service, and it will replace the previous version within a month.
