YandexGPT, Yandex's neural network, has increased the speed of text generation by a factor of five and begun formatting

Yandex reports an improvement in the YandexGPT neural network, which can now respond to queries several times faster. Previously, it took up to 10 seconds of waiting time to receive answers to large queries. Now users will see the beginning of the answer in 1-2 seconds, which can significantly speed up the process.

YandexGPT, a neural network from Yandex, can now format created texts. Users can request Alice to format headings, program code, quotations, as well as bold or italicize fragments.

In addition, since June 29, Alice has appeared on Yandex search pages with all its capabilities, including text creation with YandexGPT. Now users can find the necessary information and immediately create their own texts in chat with the virtual assistant.

YandexGPT, also known as YaLM 2.0, was launched on May 17 and is available to users in Alice's Let's Make Up mode. The neural network was trained on Yandex's supercomputers in two stages and was also implemented in the Masterpiece app.

Earlier, Yandex also announced that its language model can retell texts quickly and succinctly.
